Microcontroller

The Arduino UNO uses the ATmega328P microcontroller, which executes the code uploaded to it. It is an integrated circuit that acts as the brain of the board, processing inputs and controlling outputs based on the code.
In the through-hole version, it is removable, allowing for replacement if needed.
The microcontroller is just one part of the entire Arduino UNO board, which integrates other essential components to facilitate easy interfacing with external hardware.

The Arduino UNO has an onboard LED connected to digital pin 13. This LED is often used for simple tests and debugging, such as in the basic "Blink" sketch, which is usually the first program users run to verify that their board is working correctly.

PIN 13

Pin 13 is a digital I/O pin on the Arduino UNO. It has a built-in LED connected to it, which provides a convenient visual indicator for digital signals.

When the pin is set to HIGH , the LED turns on; when the pin is set to LOW , the LED turns off. This pin can also be used for other digital I/O purposes in various projects.
